In addition, he is a lifelong resident of North Florida and a graduate of the University of North Florida. He has worked in the construction and/or insurance industries for over 3 decades!

So what does all of this mean to the consumer looking for a competent and trustworthy ally to guide you through a water or mold damage loss? With Restore904.com, it equates to an unparalleled knowledge in the industries of Construction and Insurance. That knowledge is measurable through State of Florida Licenses and Certifications in their respective (and often related) fields!

You might be surprised to learn that less than 5% of our customers have ever made a homeowner’s insurance claim. That means that 95% of our customers have never dealt with their insurer in the claims process. If you experience a water damage loss, it’s likely that the cost of repairs alone can be in the thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars. And we’re going to tell you something that may sound shocking…your insurer is not your friend and may not treat you fairly during this process! If you doubt that at all, pay attention to the commercials you see on TV and on the web. As an industry, those outlets are clogged with ads from either insurance companies or law firms (who make exist solely to sue insurance companies for shortchanging their clients)! Newsflash; your insurance company protects the interests of their stockholders FIRST, and their policyholders second, period. That should be shocking to you! and it takes only a moment of reflection to realize how truthful that statement is. Even during the worst of times, insurance companies are profitable. In fact, in the timeframe spanning Hurricane’s Matthew and Irma, Florida Insurers still profited over $6 BILLION!

What We Do

Restore904.com is here for you, our North Florida neighbor’s, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A call to us immediately dispatches a qualified Project Manager or Technician to your home immediately. We average 30 minutes to arrival from the initial call and that’s because water damage can lead to microbial growth (mold) in just 24-48 hours. Free-of-charge, we will evaluate your water damage and show you where the water has traveled to. Since most water damage is difficult to detect with the naked eye, we use state of the art FLIR infrared thermal imaging camera’s (just like the US Military uses) to assess the extent of the water damage (water naturally “pulls” itself through building materials through capillary action, so it often travels much further than just the point of initial contact). Restore904.com will the offer the customer a professional opinion of the likely “true” cost of the damage. Our customer’s then decide if it makes financial sense to pay for mitigation and repairs out of pocket or to utilize the insurance they have available for these occurrences. We DO NOT employ or allow high pressure sales techniques. We give you the facts so that YOU can make an informed decision regarding your water damage.

If you decide that our assistance is needed, we will begin the process of mitigating your loss (as is required under the terms of your insurance carrier) and restoring your home to its pre-loss condition as quickly as possible.

Qualifications

In our industry, there are numerous entities that provide guidelines for Restoration and Remediation. The most trusted and established leader in our industry is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). The IICRC was established in 1972 and has grown into the most established, respected and internationally recognized entity in the Restoration Industry.

Restore904.com strictly adheres to the guidelines of the IICRC and maintains our certifications through this internationally recognized organization. Our Project Managers and Lead Technicians are trained and certified by the IICRC and implement the standards set forth in their certified classroom training. Hopefully our competitors follow those same guidelines, but sadly, many don’t. In fact, you might be surprised to know that some of our competitors have never even heard of the IICRC, let alone received training and certification through their accredited coursework. In fact, some restoration companies carry NO certifications! That’s because the State of Florida requires nothing more than a business license to consider a restoration company “A Restoration Company”! You read that correctly, a local business license is all anyone needs to call themselves a “restorer”! This is bad news for the homeowner whom entrusts their restoration work to those other companies but good news for you…because you’ve found Restore904.com! To further impress this point to you; your own insurance company may try to send one of their “preferred vendors” to your water damage loss knowing that that vendor may not even be a “certified restoration firm”! Insurance is BIG BUSINESS, and as a calculated cost-savings initiative, many insurance companies align themselves with the “lowest bid” “restoration company” so that they can mitigate their losses! These unqualified “restoration companies” cut corners! Look, your home is likely the most valuable single asset that you own…don’t entrust your investment into the hands of the lowest bidder!
