We’ve all heard and/or read the horror stories about BLACK MOLD! Restore904.com does not engage in scare tactics by recklessly throwing around the word “mold”. However, microbial growth can occur when water is introduced into building materials that were not designed to repel it. “But isn’t mold harmful?”. Sometimes… but not always. There are strains of mold that have been determined to be harmful to most peoplebut honestly, not all “mold” is bad. To be sure, all of us are exposed to mold on a daily and constant basis, indoors and outdoors. It is the specific microbial strains and/or elevations of spore counts that should be considered first and foremost. If even minor water damage is not dried and treated quickly and properly, a “small job” can transition to a much larger “science project” in short order. Your home is not a laboratory and should not be used for science projects. Don’t put your home or your health at risk by doing nothing! Let there be no doubt that your insurance policy is a legally binding contract, written by your insurance company’s vast team of attorney’s.
